Haloween Cards Again

I am always apologetic when I post my Halloween cards.... I will try to avoid that this time.

I pass out candy at work with little cards attached. On the cards are creepy-ish

 creatures and skulls that I draw. I then alter the images using different filters. Filters that I would feel cheep using any other time.

I am on my annual vacation when they are distributed ...( If I actually had to hand them to another human being  ....  well I wouldn't do it). 

So I usually sucker a friend of mine into the duty ( .... I try to ask someone who finds that sort of thing enjoyable ) I tried to stay anonymous at first... but people realized they were from me. Even after that I tried to hide the fact that I drew them, but everyone knows everything by now.... so I am just playing some weird mental game.

AND

I am afraid it was my own crappy ego that let people in on the secret... I just had to show off and tell one person here and another there .. 

anyway ...

it wasn't all self protection and squeemishness about attention though.... 

   When I started passing them out originally, I had invented a sort of ghost story  for the factory... He was an employee who got caught in the gears of his own machine on the last day before retirement. 

I liked playing along with the concept.

I imagined he was a very sad individual who had no life left in him ... and found himself without desires now that he no longer had his place in the company. I imagined that he was satisfied to be killed by the machine he ran for so many years.. 

and on Halloween he left candy for everyone......

boy does that sound stupid --------writing it out I feel like a dork...
